The Game works fine but when you return to the map (by dying, with "Return to Map" or by finish a level) the screen goes black.
can someone help? |

Huh? Did you change anything that is worldmap-related? When exactly did it start happening, I mean do you know what you've changed that may be causing that? Give us a bit more information.

is this a rom hack or not. second of all, as subair said, did you mess around with any map related files? this sounds like maybe you added custom 3d models on the map, or maybe used incorrect textures and it crashed the game. but to figure this out, we need a little more info

I have only changed the texture of the starcoin icon on the map

Try taking the original texture from a clean rom and replace the edited one,then try to play again... In order to see if the issue is caused by your changed icon. If so... then something obvisouly went wrong during the editing process of the starcoin's icon. If not... are you sure there are no other map-related changes?
