Hey! First off, I want to say that I'm brand new to the forum, and I hope this kind of thing is okay.

I was messing with a USA NSMB1 with the Realtime Corruptor, and I found a hex-edit that has some interesting results.

What I did: On the title screen, just as the top screen fades to black in the transition to the introductory cutscene, I set the RAM address #44836 to the value '76'.

What happened: An unidentified blue object appears to be clipping into the camera on the left side. A couple seconds or so later, a large, horizontal Toadsworth appears in the top left, rapidly spinning. Peach seems to be present, but is extremely flat, as are the pair of blue tulips and pink flowers on the grass. Bowser Jr appears, also flattened, and takes the Princess, as usual. Then, a couple seconds after, the minigames menu opens, despite there being no user input whatsoever. Everything seems to return to normal.

I'm so filled with questions, I don't even know where to begin. I feel like somebody out there might like to investigate this, so I posted the instructions here (which I hope is fine). If nobody seems to be able to replicate it, I can record the whole thing and post it on Youtube or something.

the reason Toadsworth appears is because the "bees" you see in the background of the intro are actually Toadsworths. Still dont
know why they just used a model for a regular Toad...

Wow, really? That's amazing. Thanks for the input!
