I have very big problems with sprite 198 and 199. They dont do waht I want

In this image you see a purple line. I want, when Mario/Luigi falls into this line, the camera scrolls down, so you can see the door. Then when Mario jumps up (red line), the camera should scroll normally up. Also, when I run from the blue star to the blue circle, my screen shakes when I reach the circle. Can anyone help me?

The 198/199 don't always work. I have to use them all the time for my build. A few things that can help fix them is sometimes if you have a other 198/199 sprites inline with others on the same horizontal line, they won't work.

In your image, are you using them as top limits? Did you create the 198 first and then copy it, then add the 199?

You should have them as bottom limits at the horizontal line where the floor is below the door. Drop them down to there. Also, it looks like your view is up high. Drop that down to below the tile below the door...or even the spinning rectangle sprite at the left.

Shoot, it is hard to figure by just looking at an image. If you want to send me the file, I can probably get it working. There is a lot involved to get it working. 198/199 and 276 sprites don't always work, but I can probably figure it out. Most of my levels have a lot of camera editing.

There are no other 198/199 sprites and yes, I copied 198 and changed it to 199. I send you the nml ;D

So the issues with Ray's level is that the auto scroll path does not allow for camera scrolling outside of the 16 tile height. I was able to back the path off a little, and it worked slighty, but full camera control is going to be tough. So, if you use an auto scroll and you want to use 198/199 in the same view, prepare for a battle. It is not easy.
