Yes my problem is very strange. I have 2 areas in 4-2 and I have my midway point in the second area. When I reach the midway point and die then. I get back to the midway entrance as usual. But then, the Music changes to the Multiplay music and ALL sprites dissappear. Only objects are still there. Can someone help me?

Have you double checked the data of the midway sprite? Did unwanted data transfer over? Maybe you found more data on accident?

How about Desmume, have you tried seeing if it is the problem, maybe saving data wrong? Reload the level and see if the problem is still there.

Or, how many sprites are in the level? I think the DS limit is 256. Did you pass that in the level?

Finally, and the most likely...Did you set the view number correctly for the entrances? Or have duplicate view numbers. Weird things can happen when these aren't all set right. The game tries to load another view, but loads the one you are in with the wrong data.

I have seen this myself. I think it is able to load into where the entrance is, but is not loading the view data. So the camera shows it what is in the view, but Mario's position is not loaded properly into range of the sprites.

You can set the entrance camera settings into another view to "preview" the other room. The camera will try to scroll back to Mario's real position. It is buggy, but it works sometimes. This can cause crashes so beware. But I think Mario's position and camera position can be split like this. Whether it is wise to do so is another thing.
