I read a post either on this board or over at Rustedlogic, can't remember which. But someone had a way to use lava and poison water that did not damage. Does anyone remember how to do this?

I don't know, but I wouldn't do it anyway. I think it would just confuse the player. Unless you have all of the lava/poison water in the whole game the same way, it would be too hard to know when it can be touched and when it can't.

Remember, mine is not a Mario game, and yes I was thinking of poison water being this way the whole game. I just can't find who said how to do it or when.

I know how to make lava act like water, but I dunno if it will work on poison water.
Put both lava and warp to level sprites in the same level and have the warp sprite to warp Mario in the same level. Now the lava will act as water. It has the same splashing effect as water.

Yep, it works also with Poison Water. Also, if you put a normal Tile with the water Behavior in a Level where Lava exists, that "Water" Block acts like Lava.
