When i edit these, and save, they get corrupted mostly at the bottom.

I tried making new tiles to the grass graphics by exporting/importing.
And on another file, i only wanted to make an angry face on the used brown block in the browser, in the built-in editor.

But they keep getting corrupted.
Good thing i make backups though...

Probably you use too much colours.
Try to use less colours and then it could work.

You need to say how you are saving and what you are doing. More details please.

Well, when i edit the graphics, i use the built-in editor (double click on the file).
Just now i wanted to edit the bonus room tileset from the ROM broswer, drew a new 8x8 tile, and then i saved. and then i reopened it, and saw it was corrupted.

In fact, all i can do for it to be corrupted is just to open a file, save it without making any changes, open it back, and t is still being corrupted.

I didnt have this problem when i edited the title screen logo...

Maybe it's a problem with compression?

What files exactly are you double-clicking that cause this problem? Does it happen too if you try to compress/decompress the files after or before editing?

d_2d_I_M_tikei_mame_bonus_ncg.bin
d_2d_A_J_jyotyu_ncg.bin

Also i didnt touch the compress/decompress buttons.

EDIT: i can replace the files without any problems though. I guess i need to find something that can edit these bin files...

You could try Tile Molester but its kinda hard to find out how the actual image would look in game, also the colors are slightly heavily stuffed up (without the palette file).

But... When I had a go at image hacking that is what I used and that is what worked.

You probably used the wrong palettes. <_<
So when you are playing, the images look messed up.

Also, WHY do you want to edit the Tilesets manually? There's a built-in Tileset Editor, where you can Import/Export graphics, change the behavior and map16. So there is no need to edit them manually, except you want to use both palettes.
