Like the title says, can it be possible to use more music if we use the Minigame music? With BG's it works, too. So why not with music?

I think you read it wrong, ray. He was asking for the normal "Music-Files" and not for the "Multiplayer-Music-Files".
![]() @looper: There is also a file that is called "sound_data.sdat". It is in the very same directory than the Multiplayer-Musicfile. Also you probably want to know how to hack that Musicfile.

I don't think it's possible. The minigame music is in a separate SDAT file. So, no.
Though you could export music from the minigame SDAT and import it on the game SDAT to use minigame tracks on levels. |

Theoretically is possible.
I dont know if the tools that are out there allow to do it, I've never done music hacking. Has anyone tried? I guess you'd have to unpack the SDAT, add more files and then repack. |

that would be very easy.
If i'm not mistaken, the tool called "Console Tool" by lowlines can add these datas and repack the rom.(Oh, and it can edit Graphics and display 3D-Models )

Nope Console Tool is crap. I tried it already... You cant edit ANYTHING. I can create on 3D models, so I dont need the viewer
See a lots of creative DS Hacking here![]() EDIT: Ok, it works... but not good xD The worldmap sounds changed... and the Hex number I thought wasnt the added music. It was the underground after all... strange. I will investigate that more
