Since some newcomers don't know how to get/post screenshot (an example), I've decided to make this "tutorial".

Step 1.

Be sure to have DeSmuMe.
You need it for taking screenshots from a DS Rom.
If you don't have it, you can download it here.

Step 2.

Open DeSmuMe. Then open your ROM, and play it.
When you want to get your screenshot click on File, then in Save screenshot as..., and select where you want to save it.

Step 3.

There are a lot of sites where you can upload your images.
I recommend Imgur or just new.nsmbhd.net.
Select which you'd prefer.

Step 4.

If you want to upload images on Imgur:
-Click on upload images, then browse your computer, then select your images, finally click on Start Upload. When Imgur has done, put the pointer on the image and (right) click on it, then click on Copy image address.

If you want to upload images on new.nsmbhd.net:
-Select a random thread, where you have to make a post, click on , select the image. When uploading is done, copy that link that has appeared.

Step 5.

For make the image visible in a post, do this:


Replace Image Link Here with the image link copied in Step 4.

And there isn't a paper clip icon on this site anywhere!
there's a chain icon, but that's for links!

PostImg works too (I use it, and that's good), and you can do screenshots by pressind F12. It's easier and freeze the game.

PostImg give you all links you need to, but, when you click on the picture, you go to the site.
Do other sites do this?

I'm really sorry bout the bump, but is there a way to screenshot in MelonDS. Cause that's the emulator I use and I can't seem to find a screenshot option

If not, do I really have to install DeSmuMe for the screenshots? Cause my PC is kinda trash to record gameplay on it

MelonDS itself doesn't have this option, but you can still do it from your device (what's your OS?)
