So, I was busy with my new hack (which currently has no name), and I ran into a problem. I tried to set up a checkpoint, but for some reason, when I tested out the level, the checkpoint didn't work. I did see the flag on the bottom screen, but it started me at the beginning of the level.

Another instance of this was when I was working on a level before I made the current one (the old level was replaced by my current level), and instead of putting me at the beginning, it started with Mario using the warp pipe.

Does anybody have any idea how I can fix this? It's probably just me being stupid, but eh, I have no clue what else to do.

I am also aware of the fact that checkpoints do start you off at an entrance, but why it starts me at the beginning after getting the checkpoint flag, I don't know.

You need to define what entrance will be used for the checkpoint in the level settings IIRC.

Probably you are using 0, which might be the same entrance used for the start of the level.

Thanks! I think I've solved it now. And, I actually used entrance 6, an entrance I wasn't even using.
