hello everyone
 i have a very important question, is there any other way i can patch hacks. here is the thing guys, i have a mac and well since the only nmp patching software witch is new super mario bros editor is only for windows, i am not able to patch all the wonderful hacks on this site, so maybe can some of the patches be xdelta too, i have seen some new super mario bros ds hacks that are xdelta so why not those, i really want to experience these hacks, or maybe can someone please make a nmp patcher for mac, please and thank you

You can ask hack creators to create xdelta versions of their hacks for mac/linux users.
Or you can use mono to run NSMBe on mac/linux. |

Here's a solution… You can dual-boot your Mac by installing Boot Camp. Boot Camp allows you to install Windows alongside OS X on your Mac. Only one operating system can be running at a time, so you'll have to restart your Mac to switch between OS X and Windows. If you've ever dual-booted Linux on your Windows PC, it's basically like that. Dual-Booting works when the Mac is powered on. After a few seconds a black screen will appear with the option to use Mac OS X or Windows. Choose Windows and you should be able to download ".exe", ".nmp" and other Windows files that couldn't be opened with Mac. |

To play hacks, the easiest solution would be XDelta files. However if you also want to make your own hack, you have to use Mono or do what is depicted in Lunarius' post. |
