Hi everyone! I don't know if anyone knew about this problem. However, the warp entrance sprite has not been working (at least for me) when it is placed two or more tiles above/below the View. It looks kind of ugly to see Mario's head or feet when he's warping, so the sprite has to be placed two or three tiles from the warp, but, as I already said, it just stops working. What do I do?

What are the dimensions of the warp sprite? I am asking this since I think that it has to do with how far it can be from the view. I made a 1x2 warp sprite and it works fine when placed 5 tiles outside of the view.

Is the level using vertical scrolling?
If no, keep in mind that the DS screen is something like 3/4 of a ...square thing sized view height (use the view DS screen option on the editor, deh), if you put it directly over the view, no wonder you can't use it as the screen wouldn't allow Mario to go this high.

There is a point below the view where Mario dies. You have to make sure Mario is warped before then. Try using the IF controller + the warp.

One of the levels' warp sprite dimensions are 1x6, the sprite is three tiles above the view and it should only work when you're climbing a vine. The other level's warp sprite dimensions are 2x2 and it is two tiles below the view. I don't really know why do they not work.

Both levels don't use vertical scrolling and I already knew the DS screen dimensions (4:3). The problem is that the sprite is there but it just won't work even if Mario touches it.

I know that for sure. Mario dies if he falls three tiles below the screen gap, I think. Like I already said, the second level's warp sprite is located two tiles below the View. The first thing I actually tried was to use an IF (168) sprite in order not for it to be accessible again, but it didn't work. Then I changed the warp's dimensions and disabled the trigger event ID, nevertheless it didn't work either.

If you can pass me the level privately, I can find you a fix. I've experienced problems somewhat close to yours in the past but even if I didn't, as long as I have the level, I'm almost sure can provide you a step by step fix or just send you back the level after fixing.

I somehow managed to make the first level's warp sprite to work using by using the 198 and 199 sprites, but I couldn't make the other level's one to work, unfortunately. I'll PM you as soon as I can.
