I can't get my music files to work due to issues with the music not playing the right instuments.
(Also whenever I replace the grassland theme, it and the title screen's music switch places so any help would be grateful)

I like the overall atmosphere. The sunset feeling, the mushroom ambiente and I think the piranha plants are fitting good into all this

That looks pretty good! I especially like the use of that 3D lighting effect, as it really does give the feeling of a sunset atmosphere. I think I'll try this hack out later on!

Here's the full level of 1-1.
It's Placeholder name is Pirahana Pass.
It's Really Short.

Okay, the level has minor flaws:
- the music (it's not fitting)
- the star coins are very easy
- the one mushroom which is bugging in the ?-blocks
- and the design is a bit monotonous

But the graphical design is good, I like the overworld

This was a older variation of the level, the current version has most of these flaws fixed.
What do you mean by "the design is a bit monotonous?"
Title Screen music is a placeholder as my custom music isn't working right now.

I also found a few minor things:
-Mario can't walk onto the top of slopes (use tile behavior 0A 00 20 00)
-A bit short (I know, I know the original one is short, too)
-A bit to hard (Fire spitting Pranhia plants in the first level?)
-Camera movement is a bit strange (When you jump you can't see the bottom anymore sometimes)

But the rest of your leavel seems nice to me. I realy like the themeing
