Please people, don't use gamemaker, at least use GM: Studio, and don't use Drag and drop, if you can hack, you can code, but, you shouldn't really use GM at all, it's expensive, it is very non-profitable, and you can't make good 3D Environment, At least you should learn C#/C++, then, you can do anything you want. I really want to know what Game Maker has over C#/C++, except for "It's easyer Nyanyanyanya", because then, you are calling yourself a n00b, and I know you guys aren't noobs, you are all smart epople. I just want you guys to learn moar! MOAR

Well, I never used GameMaker before (to darn confusing), I started out, with Unity3D.
Now I'm more and more switching to OpenGL + C++.
I mean, Unity was fun, if you had to learn it, but once you're able to make professional C# Scripts, in Unity, the fun is long over.

Now, the only reason I would still be falling back on Unity, is Collision Detection.
I mean, Octree seems very confusing, and the AABB Collisions I make, always end up, that the Character gets stuck in the Wall, and if not, I've done it in a very inefficient way.
But other than that, I can do pretty much everything, using just C++ and OpenGL.
