Nice but,

The mushrooms. It looks like you can stand on them. There is plenty of ways to fix this.

Thierry meant, that it is confusing for the player if they look like foreground elements, but really you fall through them.

A solution would be just to edit the mushroom sprite so it blends in with the background. You could try adding an incredibly faint white layer over the mushroom.

You can do it like this. Also, there's the same problem on many of the BGs your used. Make them different than the foreground elements.
