Hey guys,
I was thinking about creating an installer for NSMBe. So, new people don't have to worry about how to unpack archives and run NSMBe. We should leave this as an option for download alongside the zip file. I was thinking about creating the installer in NSIS. What do you guys think? |

If you get it right, then you have 100% support for me You could also associate .nds files to it, so that users can double-click rom's to edit them |

Considering how many different NDS games there are, and how many different programs edit them, why should all .nds files open with NSMBe? I prefer my ROMs to open in an emulator as the defaut. |

You wont have to open it always with NSMBe. If you dont like the option, just dont use it. I personally would like that. |

Yep. Obviously the installer should ask whether it should associate NDS files to NSMBe or not.

IMO, if you can't figure out how to unpack an archive, you won't have much success hacking NSMB either in the first place.

Could we make it so that .nds files automatically open with NSMBe BUT if the game code/checksum is not the one of NSMB then it opens with the last default program?
EDIT: AND add an open with last default program button to NSMBe. |

EDIT: AND add an open with last default program button to NSMBe. Hmm.... Maybe not checksum. But I get your idea. We could verify if the file tree is the same, then open it in NSMBe. Yea, that'll be nice. But the .nds checking cannot be done with the installer, only from the program itself. |

Yeah, and it would be a mess to ask Windows to open the "second program available" from NSMBe.
