I guess you didn't even set the boss activator...
But we need more informations. Post a screenhot of your level, at the point of the 'not-working-sprite'. |

Simply look how the Nintendo guys has made it.
Open some boss battle levels and look how they set the settings of the sprites If you do that, it will be very simply to let the boss spawn  But watch out: I can say you that bosses only will work in a castle! And all soundeffects only will work in the castle the boss originally was! _________________________ I'm out of Hacking. Of ALL HACKING... I don't know how long, but there are so many reasons why I have no time to be here for a (long) while or to hack some game  sry guys... |

I would say it would be better if you upload a patch of the ROM and post the link for it here so people can have a look and give some suggesions or even send you a patch with fixed things.
If you are wondering how to create a patch, have a look at this link. There you will find useful informations. And no, I'm not trying to backseat moderate.I hate people that do it just because they want to feel like they were the king of this board...

Well, first of all, you should... Wait no, it has been said by MarioSunshine. Anyways, you shouldn't touch boss battles/boss sprites. You can change some tiles in the level, but don't put bosses in wrong levels or move the sprites. It's probably not gonna work out. |
