I used the little block thing that allows the camera to enter an empty 16x16 square, but the camera stays in the same vertical position! Help?!

Which "little block thing" do you mean? Did you used object 2? And did you enabled "Scroll vertically" in the views options?

Yes I do mean object 2... where do I find the option to enable scroll vertically?
