i need help here!!

how do you make camera scroll?
I am making a vertical underwater castle level and mario starts at the top of the castle and the door is at the bottom.
But the camera stays at the very bottom and doesn't show mario.

what do I do??

1. Make sure they are no empty 16x16 blocks.

2. Check a tower level view settings, and copy them to your area view settings, this way you ensure vertical scrolling.

I can't find the tower level view setting...

I've also tried putting the object 2 in every 16x16 tiles but camera still doesn't scroll.

I'm guessing that's your problem? If so, there are invisible tiles in the Jyotyu tileset that are there just for filling empty spaces. The description says it too

In the view window, under where the offset values are listed, there's a checkbox that says "scroll vertically". Check that if it isn't.

If that still doesn't work, can you post the level file so we can figure out what the problem is?

Everyone should do that when posting problems to solve.
