Hey there,

is it possible (without ASM) to replace a tileset bitmap with a bigger one? So I have more tiles?

I think without ASM it isn´t possible. But you can replace your tilesets with the beach one so you have 4 palettes instead of two. That doesn´t solve your problem but I want to mention it. Maybe it can help you.

Hey, I found out how it is possible to have much more tiles.
You have to set in the Graphics this settings:

Now you can export the bitmap and edit it. You have now much more tiles.

NOPE. it won't work.

Tile Offset just adds "virtual" empty tiles at the beginning. These aren't real tiles, you can't draw anything in them and if you import an image, it will make them transparent no matter what you painted in the image. It does NOT make the image file bigger.

The only use for it is to be able to manually align images that are misaligned in graphics files. For example the goomba graphics.

And no, there's no way to change the size of the tileset graphics. No matter what you do to the file, the space in VRAM reserved for it is fixed. And with ASM hacking you *could* make it bigger, but you'd have to take the tiles from something else, like backgrounds.
