Hey guys.

I'm having a camera problem in 1-A area 1.

Here is the link of level:

1-A Area 1

Problem is, at the extracting/contracting (don't know ) mushrooms, I have a problem with cameras. It scrolls around and around. It's veryyyyyyyyyyyy hard to get to the flagpole because of this problem.

How'd I fix it?

I modified the level to start right when you enter the level.

You see the dark grey 16x16 areas? Put smth. in them so they are not anymore empty.

nah he means:

There should be an 16x16 square colored in DARK GREY. You have to put a tile inside of it, however, the camera can go inside

Dark grey?

I don't see any dark-grey 16x16 square in there.

Give me a picture of where it is?

Or maybe it don't work on some ROMs...

You see on the level editor, there are squares wich are delimited by white line, the camera CAN'T follow Mario if he goes on a square wich hasn't got ANY tile inside of it!
The camera will be stuck if you don't place at least one tile on this square

You can use the tile NUMBER #3 of the Jyotyu tileset (tileset 0) in the level editor.

Thank you.

It worked, but that tile is NOT 16x16.

16x16 is the size you'd see in a tile in a tileset.

That is WAY bigger then 16x16.

Its 16x16 because it shows a 16x16 area ingame.

Or maybe he's just pointing out it's the wrong color. At least that's what I thought first

(If it is the case, what a useless post...)
