Give new users 24 hours to post something, otherwise they will be deleted. This will be a great way to stop idiots from registering and not actually doing anything on the forum. It should reduce the amount of non-posting users, and increase the amount of active ones. (Maybe?)

I vote for deleting them too. But maybe a longer timelimit? Only 5 hours is a bit too less I think.

Bad idea. I don't usually use NSMBHD that long because I have things to do. So, I vote for "Leave them alone".
Like, 1 guy doesn't use NSMBHD for 24 hours. He logs in, and sees he is banned for NO REASON. Unfair. |

This makes no sense.
An inactive user is, uh, an inactive user. It does no harm. It occupies some bytes in the databse, that's it. Deleting user accounts for the lulz like this is a terrible idea. |

Plus it can fuck shit up.
User #495 registers. Never posts. But during that 24 hour period, User #496 registers and posts. But then #495 gets deleted. What would happen about that? |

That's not the problem, deleting an user leaves an unused User ID, it doesn't change all the IDs of all the users after him.
The problem is that it's not okay to delete people's accounts just like that. If they don't care enough about the forum to post something, they will care even less if their account gets deleted. That's the way it is

It's a shame that you can't see how many hours a user has ever been online.
I mean: There are users who just make an account, but after that... THEY NEVER COME BACK!  Some people I know have maked an account,but they never do anything with it (anymore). |
