Well, I've been thinking about this a long time, and I think I should give it a try.
I've read a couple of documents, and I think I'm going to try to make a custom case in one of the Phoenix Wright Games. But I'm a bit stuck at this part: The Characters I've to choose for the case. So I'll be asking you if you've ideas for characters to use in the game. For now (and I don't think it will happen) I'm not be able to make custom characters, so I'll stick with the old ones. This also means I can't use for example April May and Victor Kudo in the same case. So, from which game do you think I have to take the charachters from? And which characters should they be? One thing though, the characters, have to fit with almost all sorts of cases, or at least, you can do something with it. For example: If I use Jean Armstrong, I'm very limited of what I can do (He's a chef with a French accent with girl clothers) In other words, very specific. But when I come to Viola Cadaverini, I've more options. (She's a calm, young woman) EDIT: You can also say the characters you loved the most, and I'll see what I can do with it So that's it. I hope you can help me _________________________ I apologize to everyone for my horrible English. |

Well, AA2 has very good characters, if you're are going to make a case of Fey family, Justice For All is your best choice! Wait, can you use characters from Apollo Justice?

I, actually don't know. The program to hack the games was coded for PW games, and especially for PW JfA. Maybe I should try. Also, I haven't played Apollo Justice yet _________________________ I apologize to everyone for my horrible English. |

Obviously whatever program you're using is very limited if you aren't sure you can use Apollo Justice characters and you only get characters from one of the three games at a time. I would suggest using the Case Maker on the site below. It's is much more free roam and simpler to use.

I agree with using characters from Justice for All. You could make a case with a Dalia Hawtorne comeback, if you can think of WHAT evil she could think off. Unless something happened that prevents her from making another crime, I'm not finished yet with JfA and have only made the first case in Tribulations EDIT: Wait, what the friggin' hell, Hawtorne isn't in JfA. Big fail. |

Don't want to spoil anything for you in JFA or T&T but there is only one way to bring back Hawthorne and the official game already used it so it would seem redundant after that.

It's like telling people here to go male levels for SMBX instead of NSMB because it's less limited. |

I have no idea what that was a reference too but the Ace Attorney Case Maker works really well. You can use absolutely anything that was used in the first four games except for perception. Graphics, pyche locks, evidence. You can also put in custom stuff very easily and there is a wealth of places in which to get custom graphics for it.

So if he would use graphics from Justice for All, there is no way to use Dahlia Hawthorne. Anyway, I decided to choose the first game. It has bigger choice of characters (remember, it has two final cases), and it's hard to use characters from Justice for All well (especially these from Berry Big Circus, considering how strange they are). Then again, Justice for All has Pearl... |

Posted by mrx He wants to hack. He already used the case maker before. Why, Case Maker is much more free roam and you can download the case once you're finished making it if you wanted to put it on a flash card or something. There doesn't seem to be a logical reason to use whatever program you have that only can edit one game when there is a site that can use all the games and their features. If you can only use one though I'd recommend Ace Attorney given the length and character availability of Rise from the Ashes. Plus I think it's the only one with three prosecutors. |

Justice for All has Payne (first case), Franziska and Edgeworth (last case). Trials and Tribulations has Payne (first case), Godot, young Edgeworth (fourth case), and Franziska (last case, first part). If anything, Trials and Tribulations has most (four). |

I didn't realize that edgeworth was present in JFA. That being said he needs a diversity of characters the prosecutors bit was just a bonus.

Posted by Phoenix Tright and you can download the case once you're finished making it if you wanted to put it on a flash card or something. Can you really run it on a DS after making it? I guess not. If you edit the original games you can. And in the original game. That's the point of ROM hacking. |

Then again, Justice for All has Pearl... That's really true. It's alot easier too make interesting and original stories with characters as Penny Nichols and Redd White then with the whole crew of the circus. Also the limit too that game (only 4 cases while others have 5) might be a problem for me. And I really like the case maker, but I was actually trying too figure out how to make real custom cases on the DS. When I saw those custom cases on those site, I thought it would be very cool too see those cases on the DS. Unfortunately because my lack of graphics and coding skills + I'm probably one of the only persons who actually cares about PW Hacking, I've pretty much given up on the idea of making a real custom case with completely new graphics. About PW Hacking: It takes forever, and it's not hard, it's just completely tedious. You have to 'code' the WHOLE game again, and you pretty much have to test it every time. Very much things are not noted yet, (animations, characters, backgrounds etc.)and there is only 1 tool out there to really help you to hack this game. It's kind of a shame actually Posted by Dirbaio Posted by Phoenix Tright and you can download the case once you're finished making it if you wanted to put it on a flash card or something. Mine's on a flashcard so I don't have that box art and it's been a while since I played it but that really wasn't the point I was making.

Every game has a thing different from another ones.
I think PW has the most characters, cuz I don't think they appear in other game. (Lana Skye, Damon Gant, Redd White, etcetera...) JfA has the Fey Family and all that stuff, apart from the circus ones, and Shelly the Killer and Matt Engarde (last case). And T&T has the most prosecutors and the history of Dahila, the young Edgeworth and the young Gumshoe, Mia as a playable carácter, Iris and Bikini from the fifth case, MaskdeMasque... _________________________ CSMB is cancelled. Instead, I'll be doing a mini hack soon. |

Trials and Tribulations also has Fey Family (Morgan Fey appears in the last case), and it even includes Misty Fey.
