Hi guys. I thought I might make NSMB Contest.

So, what's it about?
Well, READ THE THREAD TITLE! Seriously, it's as easy as counting to 1.

What happens in the contest?
You have to make a tileset based on what the challenge is about.
Eg: If the challenge is to make an old battleground tileset, you make a tileset of an old battleground.
Eg2: If the challenge is to make a space tileset, you make a tileset of space.
You should get it now.

How do I make a tileset?
Hmm... now this is hard. It's far too hard for someone like you to open up the editor, clicking on the tools/options tab and opening up the tileset editor. The rest of the info can be found... elsewhere.

How do I enter my tileset in the contest?
Once you have finished making your tileset, click "Export Tileset". Once you've done that, head to this board, and upload your tileset, then copy the link and put it up in this thread.

How long does it last for?
About two weeks... if there is a time when the number of competitors are lacking, it will probably extend.

What happens then?
After the deadline, members that did not compete can give the competitors a score from 0 to 10 for their tileset. This lasts for two days, and at the end I will add the scores together and whoever gets the most points is the winner.

Recommendations?
Be Original. Don't just rip from other games. Make your own.

Is that it?

How does that sound then? You guys think you're up for it? Or do you just think that this is a rubbish idea, and should be closed?

I've already got an idea of what the challenge is going to be, and it's not one of the ideas on the example list.

And, if this goes well, I may do more.

I wnat to start making my Tileset NOW!

EDIT: Well, there dosen't seem to be anyone else interested, so I guess I should give you the challenge now.
Here is what the first challenge will be. (it's not very orignal though but I think we should do more creative challenges later on)

THE FUTURE
The title says it all. You need to create a tileset based on the future and you need people to get the feeling that it is set in the future. You need help? Google the future for inspiration.
