We should really get that thread on first page, page where people register or something else in the like to make the thread more visible to users, because some (if not most) of them don't post there in their first post(s), and I think everyone should introduce themselves in at least their first 10 to 20 posts. (No rule there) I think some users aren't even aware that there is one! |

It's right.
When I was a new, I wanted to found that tread, and I found it after 15 minutes.  But when there is a new member, we can put link at the user profile (in a profile comment). It's just a idea. (Because when I write "welcome to the..." , in a profile comment, I put links to the Obligatory introduction thread) |

What I think off is an auto pm to the new members that say "Welcome, blahblah, introduce you at "intro. Thread here", blahblah blahblahblah, blahblah.

I asked almost the same thing really long ago. Basically, to make people finding the introduction thread easier.

But in the FAQ, there isn't a "The introduction thread is in the General Chat", And when we are a new, we don't know where we must search.
