You have to right click on the link in the uploader and click "Copy link adress". I think that it is better to make a button "Copy to clipboard" button or a "Share" button, like on MediaFire.
This way you can copy the link faster.

"Copy to clipboard" would require Flash as browsers aren't providing needed JS methods (with the exception for Internet Explorer). But perhaps ZeroClipboard would help.

but... but... If people can't figure out the right-click and copy link, they're dumb. I'm sorry but it's that way.
And the "copy link faster" is not true either, it's one click instead of two clicks.

It's not a big improvement, it doesn't deserve including a whole flash thing just to do this. And flash sucks.

Yeah ok. I couldn't know that it needs flash to be implemented.
I just pointed it out, because it always bugged me in the uploader.

One thing I could do is
when uploading a file, show a box saying that the file has been uploaded, and putting the link in a textbox so people can copy it from there.. Dunno.

It's okay without any add-ons, but it would be better

Seriously, if people can't figure out how to copy a link's location, they shouldn't be using the uploader.

Actually I did not want this feature because it is sooooo hard to copy a link. I never mentioned that problem.
I would just like a shorter way to copy it.

Wouldn't there be the possibility of selecting the text via JS and then simulating a Ctrl+C keystroke? I know that Firefox provides that kind of functions, idk for other browsers...

well, the point of it not being doable with JS is that it's bad for security. I don't think there are easy ways around it, and if there are, these are probably viewed as "exploits" and will probably get fixed later on...

And as always, there's Flash, not caring at all about security.
