Are you using the board's IRC client?
If you do, I can highly recommend you to use a stand-alone client, as mentioned on the IRC Chat page (I use HexChat) I've also tried to use the board's client, and it didn't work for me

It does work for me, but it is still crap! Don't use it if you want to stay in IRC for longer time.

It was broken due to the URL rewriting. It's fixed now.

You have to click "No" when it asks if you want to "block potentially unsafe components"
