You probably edited a file that you shouldn't have edited, that makes the MvsL setup scene crash.
If you patch the debug screen ASM code and post a screenshot of the debug screen I could maybe help you. Or you can try getting an original rom and replacing the files you edited one by one so you can see which one is causing the problem. |

Step by step: 1. Make a list of all the files you edited that could cause the problem. 2. Get an original NSMB ROM. 3. Replace edited file #1 into the original NSMB ROM. 4. Test if multiplayer is broken. 5. Replace edited file #2 into the original NSMB ROM. 6. Test if multiplayer is broken. 7. Replace edited file #3 into the original NSMB ROM. 8. Test if multiplayer is broken. 9+. Repeat... - When you test and multiplayer scene breaks, you have found which file it is. This way you'll know which file it is. |
