I wanted to install new .NET framework for my PC (v4.0.30319) because some programs (MKDS Course Modifier) need it. However, I can't succeed the installation, because HRESULT 0xc8000222 and I don't know what's that. I've use both standalone installer and onlie installer already.
I'll try to look for solution too, but hope that someone here know about that error.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I'll be very appreciate. Thank you.

Do you have antivirus/antispyware programs enabled. I once had this problem with Spybot (but with IE9 installation) - try disabling tools like it for .NET Framework 4 installation.

I've tried disabling it, but the error still show up.
Someone told me that I have to reinstall Windows.... is it that serious?

No they are not serious because .NET framework is not a vital part of Windows just an extra.

Really? Then I feel better.
But, I still couldn't install it, do anyone know what's HRESULT 0xc8000222?

Maybe it needs to be installed with an admin login and maybe disable all non-windows firewalls and all anti-virus ect


EDIT:
actually you need to login to admin and right click and choose run as admin then try installing it.
