I could explain the Top/Bottom Camera controls. I don't get the left/right Camera Controls either.

Left/right controls are same as top/bottom, but instead of being two sprites, they're just one, and they store the height as sprite data.

Well, does the Height go up or down?
I never know, where to put the sprite: On the bottom of the height or on the top?

The height goes up. So you have to place it at the bottom.
(Maybe it's possible to put negative heights but I don't think so). See the elevator section in 5-ghost house for an example. Or 1-2 at the end. |

Ok thanks. Still one question:
What does the Retro Scroll mean. I tested it and I can't see any difference.

That's supposed to be the scroll from the original SMB where you can't go backwards in the level. This is also activated in NSMB by entering a code that I do not remember. |
