I was trying to open a read-only NDS on my Ubuntu on Mono. After I clicked open on the read only ROM, the editor crashed.
If I open a read+write ROM, it will be ok. Can you make it so a dialog box pops up saying Read-Only ROMs cannot be opened or something? It gets really annoying when the editor just crashes without saying anything. |

You mean a ROM file with 4xx permissions? (Read, not write)
Why'd anyone want to do that? xD Anyways, thanks for the heads-up. I'll see what I can do. |

This thing just isn't important enough, and it would require changes everywhere in the editor
![]() I'm not going to implement this, sorry! |

Posted by NsmB_PrO What the hell is a "read-only" ROM? A ROM with a messed up filesystem? Its not just for roms. "Read-only" just means when you set a file in your OS so programs can only look at it and not edit it. |
