I've seen several people on multiple Acmlm boards with layouts that customize the panel to the left of the post. Does anyone here know how to do that?

The posts layouts? I would actually like to have one but don't know how to do it...

I think it involves CSS at some point.

I can make a basic post layout, but I'm wondering how to make one that customizes the entire post area.

You have to wrap your entire layout in one div, and then give it this style: margin-left: -234px;

Thanks, I'll try it out.

Edit: Using a set amount of pixels will only fit perfectly if the browser window size is right. You should use -17% instead.

You could learn, it's really not that hard, just HTML and CSS, there are tutorials all over the internet.

Thanks! I ended up using -18%, but maybe that just has to do with my paddings or something.

Those are the elements you should style to do it.
I did mine that way and I'll even leave you the css I have on mine as a reference.

Thanks, Ijah. I redid my layout using those classes, and it was much easier and doesn't break with a small browser window size. It brought up a question though. Can I apply a box-shadow to my entire post, or do I have to just deal with a border?

I must say, all of that made absolutely no sense to me. Can someone dumb it down?

The link itself is broken. I guess you forgot to add HTTP://

Also, that logo is huge...
Could you remove/shrink it? Thanks
