if I were to make a hack of super mario 64 ds, would i be able to post a .nds file to download.
(I know you cant do this but is it only for nsmb hacking or all games?) |

Why would that rule only apply to NSMB? NDS ROMs of commercial games are copyrighted material, therefore distributing them is illegal, no matter what.
You could probably post a patch, but that patch would only work with the ROM version you did your edits on. A proper, version-independent was one of the features SM64DSe was planned to have at some point... _________________________ Kuribo64 - zrghij |

Also, you should make an XDelta patch, not an NMP patch. SM64DSe does many modifications to the overlay files, so NMP patches won't work.
