Hey I have a somehow big problem with a nsbtx. Its the unused bricks nsbtx. I changed it to the ground of my desert. But the problem is this:

Actually the real image in the editor isnt that dark. Its like the ground in the level... Does someone know how to fix this?

The only way I could think of to fix this is, to make the ground brighter.
You will have to test it really often to see, if it fits with the desert ground.

Then make this level at night, color the whole Tileset darker and it should look cool then.

This is most likely related to the way the game does 3D rendering. You need to find how to tell it to not apply lighting to your nsbtx sprite.

That's it! 3D-Lightning.
ray uses 3d lightning to make the level appear as a sunset level.

Yea, I guess this happens because of 3D lighting. The game renders the unused bricks as a 3D polygon (like the pipes), but it seems it's kind of broken. The pipes are not darker, but the blocks are.

Maybe an (ugh) ASM hack can fix it. If not, then do that, color your tileset darker so it looks the same as the darkened NSBTX.

Or alternatively, color the NSBTX brighter.
