Hello, i Have been trying to add moving green blocks to my level with a length of six, when i add them and link them to my path. then when i start it there are 6 lined up, when i touch them they move and a new one is made and Does the path but 1 block higher. I want one green block that when i touch makes a path of six green blocks that are moving along my set path, please can someone help me and make a tutorial or just post what i have to do to make Moving Green Blocks.

Thanks

Hi, Metal_Panda!
Welcome to the forums

From what you say, it's hard to tell what's wrong. I'm guessing here that the blocks aren't following the path properly? Try to align the path to the 16x16 block grid. You can hold shift while dragging the nodes to do that easier.

If that's not your problem then I don't know... Maybe a screenshot will help

Lol, I still don't see what's the problem. Are the green blocks going 1 block higher than you want them? Then move the path down 1 block ...

OMG THATS EPIC xD
Check your sprite data and the Unknown fields of the path. You shouldnt have random numbers there

Yes I agree that is really awesome. Nice accidental discovery.
For the video, what did you use to record?

I don't know if my suggestion will be of any help, but one good thing to do would be to look into some of Nintendo's levels that use the green blocks, to see how they placed them and what values they put...

I've got your problem before. That's annoying. But it's not so hard. You should set the nodes to align in 16x16 grid. Like what  Dirbaio have said. 'cause the blocks have 16x16 size. So it's weird to travel in 8x8 grid.
And make sure that your node#1 is far enough from your starting node for your green blocks to lie on. So if you've it seven blocks long, set the node#1 far from #0 about eight tiles.
If none of these solve, try rebuild your path or do what  Arisotura says.
BTW Welcome, metal_panda.

Maybe the green blocks need a certain space of horizontal travelling before turning? Try to make the path horizontal at the beginning for some more tiles, and then make it turn...

Yep, I mean like that. Try it out!
It used to work!

Thanks for all your help!
It's working fine now!

Oh BTW I found out that when I make green moving blocks the Screen doesn't fallow it, to make it follow I needed something at the edge of the screen so i used coins..... but why do I have to do this?

The camera only moves into 16x16 Blocks (You can see them in the Editor) when they are actually used.
So just put an Object 2 of the jyotyu Tileset in the block and it works fine then.
