I don't think it is possible to recover deleted Youtube videos. There's a site called Youtomb, that shows some info about deleted Youtube videos, as well as some thumbnails, but not much else.

I have tried Youtomb but it only shows the most popular videos

Sorry for this super bump to the post but, I managed myself to find some of the removed videos.

Working Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaOJEReEhIo

INFO: Late Beta Video (1:08 Bowser Jr. jumps backwards)

Other beta videos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L16AxOA9qgo - Mid-Development Beta

The beta version just looked way better than the final version
Anyways, try to not bump because the mods don't really like this.

But I always wanted to play the beta of NSMB, because of the controls. Its are very good, and it's very easy to move Mario.

Even with ASM hacking, I don't think we could remake this.

But I hope the remake of the beta will be continued. It's interesting to play.

It could be great if Dirby can ASM (and model) remake the mega mario of the beta, it looked way better than the actual one who can... move and... jump...

The old one really looks like mario in super mario 64...

Huh, cool, TWBM, never heard of that.

Probabally because they would get kicked out.

Hi XXLuigiMario!

How did you get the old video? I found it on one of my backups (I downloaded it of google video before it was taken down). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygujDHVBYB8

Can you find any of the two ? videos on the page I made here?:

I downloaded the video from the Wayback Machine some time ago, I randomly found it on my other computer's hard drive.

I'll check and see if I find more of those videos.

In the final version of NSMB, the game freezes very short if Mario gets a item,
and if an enemy hit him. At the Beta videos, the game doesn't freeze.
But with ASM Hacking you can change this.
Look at the thread: No freezing during power-up/-down animation hack

It's interesting since it shows more stuff like the ! switch activating the coins.

EDIT: And it still works in the final version.

Yeah, I guess the P switch didn't exist yet, and instead they used red outline coins.

Also, this can probably the 2nd fully remake-able level, now that we have more footage (of presumably the same version as the version in the other video- or at least the same in level design terms).
