theres a even more easier way to do this

step 1

make a 32x32 pixel image

step 2

go to ROM File Browser/banner.bin

step 3

if ur image turns pink, then check the "View in 4pbb format" and it should have the regular nsmb icon
then click "Import this bitmap and recreate pallete" and select ur file (make sure its a PNG file!)
