Add support for double-click NML open.
(You know what I mean). |

This would be nice, but an NML can't be used by itself. It needs an NSMB ROM, so it can't really be opened directly from a file browser.

Making NMLs double-clickable would require making changes to the computer. And these would be windows-specific crap, which is something I want to avoid.
This is the same reason as for there's no NSMBe "installer". It's just unnecessary. And there's also the problem Piranhaplant mentioned. ... |

You do not need an installer to link NML'S to NSMB editor, you just right click on an NML and set it to always open in NSMBe.

A ROM would be needed because the tilesets aren't stored with the exported level. There are ways around this such as having a default ROM, but that seems kinda hackish.

Hiccup: since NSMBe isn't "installed" it would have to set the file association when running itself. And if the user removes/moves NSMBe folder, it would stop working.
ray: Levels in the ROM are two files, a .bin and a _bgdat.bin. NML is a NSMBe-specific file format that contains both. No NMLs in the ROM file browser. So yeah, too complicated and useless. This isn't going to be implemented. |
