Try the R4 (there's multiples ones) or Flashcard DSTwo. DSTwo one is apparently the best.
Posted by SaturnYoshi  R4 Hmm, I guess you shouldn't say this. It's obvious to you, but not to everyone. |

I wonder how many billion times this has been asked, but here we go.
I'm getting into this and when I start up the level, the screen is jerking up and down and I die immediately. There is nothing on screen either. Why is this? _________________________ Things: YouTube Ads: Your ad right here, right now (Max 3): $0 (Click me!) |

Now, looking at your profile on SMWCentral, I've seen that you've dealed for a lot of time with Lunar Magic and made a lot of hacks. Well, there's a slight difference between Lunar Magic and NSMBe needed to make work a level. The views. They are white borders that indicate which part of your level will be viewed in-game.
All you have to do basically is...go on your level, click on , choose "Add" and "trap" your level in the view by dragging the view on the edges. Like this... (I tried to make this thing more understoodable than possible, so if you have problems in understanding...please refer me.) |

If you want to control the camera further, there are objects in the jyotyu tileset and sprites that can help with that.

How do you take screenshots with the editor? I never saw a button.

Woah MPG, it sure was very hard to find. You were lucky SaturnYoshi was there.
A quick Google search could have given you the very same answer, by the way. |

In all honesty though, It would be nice if NSMBe had a whole level capture like Reggie!. So you don't have to paste images together to make a map of a level.

I'm doing the tile behavior for the slopes in a tileset I'm making, and I have 3x1 slopes. But I notice that in the tileset behaviour list there are only behaviors for 1x1, 2x1, 1x2, and 4x1. So how do I do 3x1? I think I've done it before, but I can't remember.

I'm trying to edit the blue shell sprite.
Someone told me that the files that the items use is /root/obj/I_item_ncg.bin and /root/BG_ncl/d_2d_A_Jjyotyu_ncl.bin. |

Posted by Luigi Hero How do you loop custom music in NSMBDS? Before converting a midi file to sseq, open it up in a midi editor and add markers reading "loopStart" and "loopEnd" where you want it to loop. Hope this helped. Thank you so much it worked perfectly! Though i really got to find a better midi editor then the midi event editor I have right now or learn how to use FL studio place place markers. Edit: Posted by Luigi Hero Ok thanks! Your and NSMB_PRO's Hack looks amazing I can't wait till I can play it. So if mario is unreplaceable... Could we import the textures of the custom mario in the game then change the pointers to load the smw mario instead of 3d mario? I wonder if that would work... Quote back when I was stupid. OFC let me rephrase this so it's understandable: "Is it possible to import sprites in the game and asm hack it so instead of loading a 3D for mario and luigi it will load sprites and load them instead. So you can turn NSMBDS into a full 2D game." So I am wondering if someone who is good in ASM hacking NSMBDS... (WTF one of the goombas the website just jumped very high???) could explain how I would go about doing this? I just think it would be very cool to be able to use sprites instead so it will feel more "classic" then the NSMB series. _________________________ |

Anybody know where I can find DS-quality sprites of Yoshi and Birdo? The best thing to do, IMO, is to rip their sprites from Mario Hoops 3-on-3. It would create decent 3D sprites of the two dinosaurs, and you could then use them in place of Mario and Luigi.
A Yoshi's Island DS game, done in the style of NSMB, would be totally FIRE! _________________________ The meaning of life is 42 |

I opened someone's hack in VGMtrans to see what kind of music they had and they had replaced the BGM_AMB music files. I know how to replace these. My question is how do they use them? Are they the castle ambient selection?
