Two times New in the title: overkill much?

The area in the last screenshot looks like lots of fun! That's what the Mega Mushroom was made for: mowing down tons and tons of blocks and enemies!

Are those lights in W1-2 reskins of swinging ropes or are they part of the tileset?

The shading on the mushrooms in W1-3 could be better: it looks as though the dots are highlighted, but the orange surrounding the dots isn't. And maybe a lighter pink would be fit for the mushroom stalks. Also, the waterfall is a little... unicoloured. It looks more like just a column of translucent blue, no offence, you're not bad at making tilesets, you're only new to it! The more tilesets you make, the better they'll look. But the waterfall should actually look like it's flowing, that's what I mean... maybe you can ask for help with these things in the Graphics subforum. Oh yeah, and the background in the first screenshot has lost a little quality. If imported graphics lose quality, you can use NitroPaint to fix the palettes. It's on Github.

Oh yeah, and it's a bit empty - it might need a few more coins.

Okay okay, enough nitpicks, back to positivity! I really like the yellow grass in the second-to-last screenshot. And the level design I see is quite good. I so want to slide down that slope in W1-1!

Really, keep trying different things and just keep up the good work! Despite the tiny flaws, this looks like a promising hack!

New waterfall tiles and new grassland background

Well well... the waterfall looks like a waterfall now (even though the translucency got lost. Can you restore it?)! Could use a little more shading (and remove the blue outlines on the left and right edges of the waterfall), but it is definitely way better than the solid blue bar it was before.

Nice background. A little quality loss (see sky to the right the of third/above the rightmost coin and the hills behind the orange hill), but I'm sure you can iron that out, easily fixed, not a big problem.

tl;dr: great improvement!
