I would suggest, that you can put sticky notes inside Levels. When I have some things, that I cannot keep in mind, it was great to have such a feature.
What do you think?

What Freeze, you mean you don't have a pile of 10 full notebooks next to your computer like I do???

Where would this data be stored though? Another tag along file like the object description? That we would have to transfer if the base folder changes?

Could be quite useful

I'll probably implement it, it won't be too hard.
The only problem is where to save it. What do you guys prefer: In the level files themselves? Or in extra files outside of the ROM?

I would be happy with a .txt
Can you really implement it in the level file? That would be awsome!

Maybe you should make the sticky note stick to the grid to make it easier to implement?
So you could store the position of the sticky based on the block it's placed.

And you should have the option to hide/unhide individual stickies and hide/unhide all. Or you could make the stickies become very transparent when the mouse goes over them so you can see what's behind it.

I'll probably implement it in the level file.
I think you can add more data in them, just for use of the editor (NSMB won't use them)

The problem is that I think they'll be loaded with the rest of the level, so notes shouldn't be that big.

The good thing of saving them in the level files is that if you export as a NML and give it to another person or import it into another slot, it will still have the notes

If not, you'd need to copy the .txt file manually too, and that's not fun

oooh ok....
Wait, can't you make it so when you export a level, the notes from the .txt will be embedded into the .nml or .nmp so when they import it, the editor will append the notes in the .nmp or .nml into the other .txt file?

Well, why make it so complicated when I can include them in the level files?

Hmm....
So then you should add a feature to delete all notes in the level or ROM so when they create a patch and they don't want the notes in it they can do it faster.

True, that's necessary too

Maybe an option "Exclude level notes" when exporting a patch, so that there's no need to delete anything

Ah yes that would work.
Can you make it so you exclude notes from the selected levels?

The object description in the level would be nice too. Although the object file still has a bug to it. I just can figure out for sure what makes it loose data. Maybe deleting objects??? IDK But having this in the level instead of a .txt would be cool.

This one. There's nothing we can do to fix it though since it can't be reproduced.

I can't figure out what is doing it. I have been paying attention trying to find out. There is no error...just all the sudden the data for certain tilesets dissapears. And I can't re-enter it either with some.

Which means we should stop going off topic.
Anyways, looking forward to this feature.
