Version 1.1 update notes:
- slight changes to 2-5's final star coin - Fixes to 5-C, 5-Castle, 7-A where the warps would not work after collecting star coins If you have a previous version and want to 100% the game make sure you update this version as 3 star coins can't be collected (just create a save state with the old version and load it with the new version if you've already started) _________________________  New Super Mario Bros. Something is wrong, I couldn't patch the file normally, used a different method and was able to patch but the game didn't open.

Are you using a (U) rom, and using xdelta? You can also try this if xdelta doesn't work:

Yes I'm using xdelta and an U Rom but this never happened till now.
It always patch the room successfully but now it's saying something about a window, maybe something related to where the hack is going to but it looks like the hack and the room are not compatible or something like that. |

Try either reinstalling xdelta, or changing your rom

The problem isn't witth xdelta, I tried another hack and it worked.

I'm using the desmume emulator.
A message about size screen always appears when I start a hack but I can still play the hacks without any trouble, this time what appeared was four message within the game talking about corrupted save files but the game still opened after that and everything was okay until I entered the first level where the Green Grasslands icon half appeared in the bottom screen and then nothing, I waited some time to see if the level would load but it didn't. |

Go into emulation settings I think it is and turn off dynamic recompiler

Yeah there were issues with the level intros so I just cut a few levels out so there’s no 4-5, 5-2, 6-A and 6-B
