It would be good to make it so: when you hold ALT, there would have no snapping. when you hold SHIFT, there would have a 16x16 snap. And maybe also, while you resize both XY on stuff. When you hold SHIFT, it will make a perfect square. (just like in paint, when you hold shift when drawing a square or cirle, it makes it perfect.) EDIT: When you press F4, the editor will open the ROM in the emulator selected in the options. _________________________ |

There's a button in the toolbar that enables/disables snapping.
And I personally find 16x16 snapping quite useless. Why would you want that? You can do it already with 8x8 snapping and looking at the surrounding blocks... |

I just relized that, I posted this because of the green moving blocks paths, i thought it would screw up if nodes were placed correctly, and before making a reply, i tested it, and it had no flaws. Im sorry for this.
What about when you press F4, the editor will open the ROM in the emulator selected in the options? _________________________ |

Hmm not hard to do. Though I dont see the usefulness of it. Waiting for the emu to launch, mmhmhmh...
Personally, I always have the emulator open, and when I want to test, I press alt+tab to select the emulator, and then F12 + Enter which reloads the ROM in No$gba. Easy and fast. |

For my ZAMN editor I implemented a feature that generates a save state to the current level for easy testing. Basically it just takes a pre-created save state and edits the RAM address for the current level, then launches the emulator. This could be a useful feature for NSMBe, but I don't know where the current level RAM address is

Yea...
Well, that's the actual level data. Instead the good thing to do would be to have a savestate of the ROM in the level loading screen, and then edit the "level number" in RAM so that it loads the specified level. |
