Probably i post in the wrong forum...
But i want to know more about sprite settings. Are these sets a rom feature or it was just zero-made from the editor! _________________________ Discord server |

Why would anyone take the trouble to implement that as a feature? The only reason it's here is the DS's limitations.
Try out the search function if you want to know more. There are most probably threads about it already. |

Its a real setting in the level format that is looked at by the game. This isn't unique to NSMB either: SMW, YI, SM64 and SM64DS all have similar setups.

![]() Every video game has to be told where to look for any specific graphic, whether it be a texture to put on a model, or a sprite to be displayed on a 2D plane. There's even a rule about not messing up in this on SMWC, and having a red Buzzy Beetle when you meant to use a Spiny, since they both share the same space in their respective graphic files.
