Ok, finally I was able to make my layout easy readable and bugfree. I will probably make another one (and hopefully more beautiful one).

I already know HTML and most CSS. I just don't know what to do with the .mainbarUSERID.

.mainbar UserID means: .mainbar"your ID" mine is 4, so I have to write .mainbar4. Yours is 57, so you have to write .mainbar57

I dunno. I use my local install of the forum to test stuff.
Maybe you could disable your current layout and test the new one by going to New Reply, posting your layout there and using Post Preview |

ABXD is filtering the style tags. It makes sense, because one could fuck up the whole page by using style tags. Then I guess the only way to test your layout is to apply it everytime Or, a more complicated method: you could go to your profile, save the page, and then edit your layout in the saved HTML... |

Go to your profile page: http://nsmbhd.net/profile.php?id=47_
Then on your browser go to file->save. Save the whole page as a .html file Then, open the saved HTML file with your browser. You should see again your profile page. But now it's saved to your computer so you can edit it freely. Open it with a text editor like Notepad. You'll see lots of HTML code. Don't panic. Do Control+F for "This is a sample post". You'll find the code for the sample post. Around it you'll see the code for your layout. You can now edit and save it, and refresh the saved page on your browser, so you see the changes you make to it Also, for more advanced stuff you'll probably want to use CSS inside <style> tags. Look at my layout for an example When you're done, copy back the layout code to your profile |

Found the layout code, replaced it with an edited version of yours (Which had 47's instead of 1's on it, if I caught on correctly there), and the layout was just fudged. Idk. I bet I'm just missing something totally obvious, and I don't want to apply every time, because it'll fudge with my layout, ehich of course- everyone can see. :L _________________________ |
