The contests are a good place to get tips about level design  You could try again Level design is not that hard. Have a look at levels that you think are good. Either the original levels or other people's levels. Think about what makes a level good. Then think about what makes a level bad. It's just a matter of avoiding the common mistakes and making something original |

Be creative and avoid empty levels
See a lots of creative DS Hacking here They shouldnt be all the same. For example dirbaios level. He edited the textures and that makes the player think "Wow that looks nice" Or just good ideas so the player thinks "this was a nice and FUN to play level. I think I'll beat AGAIN some time " If they lost the pleasure, then you can think its not good (some tips from many )
