So I had this suggestion in mind to see if you guys could add the ability to maybe make members (MEMBERS ONLY) could create personal groups. For example, Say that one user wants to create a hack and have a big group of people to help out and share their ideas into the group. The user can invite another user to that group and the other user can accept or decline the invite and you can have your own chat room and make the group name and stuff... So maybe this could work... Any feedback on this suggestion would be great to hear...(Not any negative feedback. Eg: 'This sucks' or 'This is a horrible idea') Not any insulting feedback like that...

While this usually works well on large boards, on a smaller board like this one it could encourage circlejerks and/or clans rivalizing against eachother. Such clans would keep their knowledge secret to make a better hack than the other, and the whole community would suffer from it.

The idea is to make a better hack from ability, not knowledge.
And you can still make multi-people hacks on nsmbhd, the posts will just be public. |
