Hey guys,

Here's four Koopas as seen in the Level Editor.
They are in this order: Green, Red, Blue, and Blue stay on ledge.

All of them are checked the "In Shell" checkbox, as you can see in the image. And, there isn't an icon for the Koopas in the shell.
Also, under "Color", it turned blank! What's happening?

If you select an item on the drop-down menu, it changes the raw data to match the type of Koopa, but the box remains blank!

As you can see here, the Koopas with different colors in the shell are working perfectly in DeSmuME.

That's because the color was set to use nybbles 10-11 and in shell is set to use 10, so they would overwrite each other. Also they are rendered with the wrong color because it's set to use nybbles 10-11.

?

I don't understand how they are rendered incorrectly. In DeSmuME, they go in the right order: Green, Red, Blue, and Blue

I'm just saying that the "Color" drop-down box becomes blank when "In Shell" is selected. And that the Koopas should have a different icon when they are in the shell. There's nothing else wrong!

BTW, I just realized I misspelled "regarding" in the title.

EDIT: Fixed title. And I didn't notice before that all the Koopas were Green in the editor!

The reason for the problem was that the sprite data thought that color used nybbles 10 and 11, so when "in shell" was checked it would set nybble 10 to 1, making the editor interpret color as 16, 17, 18, or 19. I've fixed it though, but I still need to add the images for koopas in their shells.

Yeah, it was more like a bug in the sprite DB rather than in the editor

I've changed it to "fixed".
