I will post in this Thread all of the Grassland themed backgrounds I make or would like to share.
There are already two of them that I made.

Conifer:

Grassland Hills: (This one is a bit bad...)

That conifer one is a pretty cool recolor of the winter trees

You are wrong. It is not a recolor. I only took the shape. The rest is colored from scratch by me. 2 hours of work.
The problem was the snow. If it hadn't been there, I would have just recolored it.
But of course, I got inspired by the Winter Trees.
My mum helped me a bit with them, because I would have never done them as beatiful alone.

Well, technically it IS a recolor since its the same shape of a BG in a different color...

Anyway, it looks pretty good

Thanks.
With shape I meant this:

Inside that "template", I painted all from scratch. I kept the dimensions as well. If this is really a recolor, then I was wrong before.

I like these Zelda Trees very much and they can be used fine in NSMB.

What is your problem? We need to simplify it only a bit and then it works perfectly:

You should be able to get it in full-quality by making it a 2-layer BG. Erase the ones in the distance and re-make them in a different BG. (But then you'll also have to add sky.)

What do you mean? It would be the same. The only difference is that the trees in the distance will move slower than the trees in the foreground, which will add a good 3D effect.

If the effect of the background looks good enough, then you don't need different scenery in Layer 2.
