Install the Updates, then programs that you want to use.
I'd recommend: GIMP, Flash, mono, wine, xchat, vlc, desmume (?), java. |

You should maybe also install Chromium and Steam (you can get Steam from its website).
You may also want to install Eclipse or NetBeans if you want to do Java. |

This is what i've installed:
xchat, GIMP, Adobe Flash Plugin, Ubuntu Restricted Extras, Wine, and Grub Customizer. About Eclipse, i'm going to program using windows because it seems easier to run commands . Also, every time i boot up, i get an error, i clicked send to get the details to show you. What does it mean? (sorry about the picture, i dunno if it's available in text) P.S. I was about to throw the computer out the window while i was doing that picture, i kept trying to make a selection and the image kept moving , until (i think i did) i discovered how to get rid of that (i clicked ctrl+h) _________________________ |

Try reinstalling evolution in synaptic. (some silly email program) (Next time I'd get a long term release, like 12.04) |
