Whenever I edit a sprite and choose "save and close" or "save" then manually "close". All of the existing datas are gone.
Even that I reload the page, it still shows that ALL of its data are gone. What I've to do is type them all again.

Please look into it, I doubt if it's only happen to me.
Thanks!

PS: See sprite 86 for an example. I've found this because of it. Its data is gone!

In that case, editing it again and again was a silly thing to do as it only served to spam revisions.

Perhaps Dirbaio wanted to implement serialized field storage like I did, but didn't do it everywhere... idk

Yeah, I know,  Arisotura. But what might happen if I don't know that it's really a bug or not?

I really don't have the time to look at it now, so I've disabled edition to prevent more fields getting lost

Sorry for the inconvenience!

Well, the thing is fixed now.

It was a silly bug I introduced two weeks ago or something, it would make the querybuilder go boom when using 10 inputs or more O.o

What's bad:
Nah, I've to edit that sprite again.

Oh that... what? I remember having fixed it on my board and I was pretty sure I committed the fix to the repo too! Slap me a billion times if I didn't

nope... It was a fail in the querybuilder I made 9 days ago. I failed the regex. I think you haven't even updated K64 to include it yet.

I can't seem to find where to post this, but i'm changing all the incorrect names of enemies to there confirmed names.

Example:

Flamethrower : Rocket Engine
Water Bug : Skeeter
Shark : Sushi
Eel : Unagi

I am on the fence with this one. I agree with the water bug to skeeter, but dunno about the flamethrower. Its been called like that till the days when smb3 hacking was possible.
Also, dunno about the shark. Most people dont know it goes by the name sushi, so it will lead to confusion.

And I really, really dunno someone will prefer to name the Eel to Unagi.

I really don't think you need to change these. The original names are good and give a good description of what they are. If I'm looking through or searching the sprite list for a shark I would skip right past "Sushi" because I've never seen it called that. If you really think it's necessary to change them, at least keep the original names in there (i.e. Sushi (Shark), Unagi (Eel), etc.)

For the record, the shark is mentioned as sushi at mario party 7, but still, many people dont know that is named like that.

They are Japanese.
You see lots of strange name in the file browser.

For example, Balloon_Teresa.nsbmd
We all know that word "balloon" mean, but what the heck is Teresa?
Teresa(???) means a girl's name, Nintendo uses it for the boo's name for some reasons.

Another Example, Bilikyu.nsbmd
"Bilikyu"(?????) means "Amp", "kyu"(???) means "ball".
I have no idea why it is called Bilikyu(?????).

As far as I know, bili(??) means "the nearest place", but that doesn't make senses. The word "Eletricity" is called "Denki"(??) in Japanese

No one know why Nintendo didn't code them in the same language, but if you see some strange words, it is propably Japanese.

Wow, you know a lot! What I only know is that it's Japanese.

For the name I suggest this way.

Eel(Unagi)

"Jyotyu"(=Jyotyuu=??) means "Maid"!! What the heck?

Yeah, I actually knew they were in japanese, and knew what some of the words meant

Anyway, naming them by the "official" name seems weird for some, since unagi is actually eel in english, so its the same thing basically

Just like the word pakkun, which is the name for the piranhaplant enemy in japanase, but nintendo named them pakkun flowers to the piranhaplant in Super Mario Land in non-Japanese regions, which leads to confusion.

So I guess that we leave in english the names, until an official unique name is given (not names that are not translated)

English names are better. Much more intuitive.
I'm a big mario fan, and still I don't know most of the "real/official names", so meh.

I agree with  Dirbaio, most of Japanese in Mario games is translated. We should only keep the English name.
And another problem, if we change them to Japanese name, the board will be fill out with question like:
"what is kuribo?"
"what is bilikyu?"
"Someone help me with all this name!!"
And so on.
And if we keep both, the name of the sprites will be too long. Some of them are already too long.
